The novel `Looking for Alibrandi,' consists of many exclusive events. One of those events includes, Josephine Alibrandi, and her changes of identity that we discover throughout the novel. As we determine this, we uncover several of the characters personalities and their outlook towards life, which includes; Josie's opinion of John Barton (Josie's high school crush) and how he has changed according to Josie, Josie's opinion of her father, Michael Andretti and how it has affected her throughout the novel, and how Josie starts to accept the fact that she is of Italian culture, and there is not anything she can say, or do about that.
Josie's relationship with the character, John Barton, is highly significant due to the growth of their friendship they have shared throughout the novel. As their friendship developed, Josie no longer judged John Barton on his outside appearances and began to look deeper...
