Power of Hitler and Bush
Summary: Essay examines two instances of power using charisma, social status, and money and uses Bush and Hitler as examples.
Power is defined as the ability to influence and control. As long as man has occupied the Earth, powerful individuals have ruled it. They have seized whatever they desired. The individuals have used their natural gifts and inheritance to form a domain of their own. The world is controlled by a few powerful people that possess money, excellent social status, and charisma.
One example of a powerful person is George W. Bush. Bush is heir to an extremely wealthy Texas family. His father, George H. Bush, was elected into presidency in 1988. This immediate social status boost allowed Bush to succeed later in life, even though he was a mediocre student, and was arrested for possession of cocaine. In 2001, when Bush decided to run for presidency, his campaign was fueled predominantly by his father's estate.
