Aesopt wrote many fables and he once said "It is not only fine feathers that make fine birds" . This quotation applies to women as well. Basically meaning that it is not always what's on the outside, that which defines us for who we are. In Sophia Loren's essay "Woman and Beauty" she states, "We live in a world that prizes beauty and rewards those who are believed to be beautiful." This quotation outlines the entire aspect that women have to be beautiful to be rewarded. Yet who are those to define what beauty should look like? Mainly it is the advertising agencies, which set trend and portray images of a "beautiful woman." Do these agencies portray positive or negative images?
