Summary: This essay is explaning "Anthem" and the major themes shown in it.
Even though at the end of Anthem, by Ayn Rand, Equality is greatly out numbered, and modern society lies in ruins, it is a story of liberation and hope--not despair. Equality creates a society, in the end, where he can be happy. He realizes that life is about being an individual and making decisions for yourself, not doing what others want you to do. He also finds out that people have the power to make their own choices in life and that everyone is an equal.
Equality and Liberty break away from their society and go in the Uncharted Forest where they find a cottage left from the Unmentionable times.
