In his book, historian and author Michael Shaara brings together a beautiful sense of story telling with a detailed history to produce a novel which both interests and educates the reader. Even more importantly, one could say, The Killer Angles gives a comprehensive view of the war from both sides of the conflict. This further informs the reader upon the true events of the Civil War.
