Summary: The following provides a report about the Hawaiian Hawk.
For my report I chose the Hawaiian Hawk. The Hawaiian Hawk's feathers are famous because they were used for warriors long ago and sometimes for the ali'i. The warriors put sticky glue on the trees. When the Hawaiian Hawks landed on the trees, they would get stuck. The warriors would take the feathers and dye them with nice colors. The warriors used the feathers for the capes and helmets.

The Hawaiian Hawk's scientific name is Buteo Solitarius. The hawk's feathers are dark brown to tawny brown to almost white. It has dark spots that mark its chest, belly, and the undersides of its wings. An average adult Hawaiian Hawk measures up to sixteen to eighteen inches (forty-one to forty-six centimeters) long.
