A Chance Child Notes
Excerpt 1:
"Kids get lost and found each day of the week. He's probably gone home
to his mum while you're out looking for him."
"We don't think he would, you see," said the boy. "And we're very worried
about him. He hadn't got a coat on; he must be very cold and hungry."
"He'll find his way, son," The workman said.
"He hadn't any shoes on. He couldn't swim."
"He'll have asked his way, and got himself back where he belongs."
"He dint know where!" cried the girl.
This excerpt attracted m,y attention because of the possiblities of acting it out. You could act it out in a debate style, quickly and sharply. Or it could be read slowly as if the charecters were in deep thought. the possiblities are endless. I read it quick and sharply. Thats another thing that attracted me...
