"Enemy at the Gates" Movie Review

Summary: This is a movie review about the film "Enemy at the Gates."
"Enemy at the Gates", is a movie inspired from World War II, concerning the final battle for the city of Stalingrad between Russia and Germany, a decissive battle which would change the course of history. The movie is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud, director of "7 years in Tibet" and other movies. He does a great job with "Enemy at the Gates", which was thought to be the movie of the year 2001, year of its release.

The cast is formed by actors such as Jude Law (Vassili Zaitzev), Joseph Fiennes (commissar Danilov), Rachel Weisz (Tania Chernova), and Ed Harris (Major Erwin Koenig), all of which do an awsome job interpreting their characters.

The movie tells the story of an epic duel between a young Russian sniper, Vassili Zaitzev, and a rich German aristocrat, Major Koenig, who was sent from Germany to eliminate Vassili.
