Summary: Essay examines the magnificent life led by Alexander the Great.
In the year 356 BC a princess of Epirus gave birth to a baby boy in Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia. Her name was Olympias and she was not just a princess, but one of the many wives of Philip II, king of Macedonia at the time. They named their baby Alexander and like any new parents, they wanted nothing but the absolute best for him. Knowing that one day this baby boy would take over and be the king of Macedonia, Philip II found for him the best tutor he possibly could. His name was Aristotle.

Aristotle was an astounding philosopher. He trained Alexander very well in many different ways. He began by teaching him rhetoric and literature, which I must admit are indeed everlasting for I'm learning about both in my English class of this year.
