Picture a harbor surrounded by people, ships, supplies, and other things and stuff. Then suddenly a deadly surprise attack starts. The harbor is then surrounded by burning and exploding things, damaged or destroyed ships and supplies, and people dead or wounded. The bombing of Pearl Harbor changed the appearance of this country, forever, in so many different ways.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, until the Japanese attacked. This was one of the worst days in U.S. history and was one of the great defining moments in history. Pearl Harbor was a historic turning point; it shocked Americans and pushed the U.S. into World War II. Americans didn't want to go to war and ignored and accidentally misled warnings about attacks.
