The act of flatulence has always been revered by the immature teenage boy, as a talent or skill. That being able to "rip a big one" is commendable, and being one of those immature teenage boys I take pride in "ripping a big one" as well. There is also a time and place for this act, and a classroom is not one of those time or places. Especially when there is a classroom full of fellow immature teenage boys, this could create quit a commotion and be very disruptive. When a fellow male classmate "rips one" there is sometimes what we have dubbed the "celebration" which includes putting our shirts over our noses and hysterically laughing.
