Physical Education should not be mandatory for grade 11 and 12 students. Student and parents have many reason why physical education class should not be mandatory. Such as, it would ruin the gym class for the student who enjoy and want to take PE and the students that don't want to take part in PE, will have not learned anything once the first term is over. Also, people understand that obesity and inactive of children is a factor, but there are other ways to influence them to be active and that attitude towards physical activity is formed before the age of 12.

Mandatory Physical Education, takes away from the students who want to take part in PE Students who want to take PE, take it for one reason; to be active and stay healthy. But the students who are forced to take PE will not make that class a positive experience...
