Faiths Supporting War
Summary: Essay discusses various faiths and their support of war.
Throughout history, faiths have dealt with the issue of war. War in some way affects the followers in different aspects. With these documents it is concluded that religion justifies war. The Purpose of Document one was centered to Hinduist faith, provoking their followers to fight and defend their honor based society. Document two was based on Judaism; its purpose was to tell of the Holy wars and reasons to enlist in the Judaic services. The third document written by Sun Tzu was made to warn other Daoist warriors to be truthful about their military. Islam's religion orders one to defend their faith and aid in war.
