Christianity and Islam: Same God, Different Worlds

Christianity and Islam were based on the beliefs of the same God. However, the major theological beliefs and rituals were different and the same in many ways. There were theological differences and a difference on what they thought religious art was. Some of the main theological differences were the different beliefs of icon, different views of God, and different views of Creation.
Islam and Christianity had many dogmatic similarities. For both religions, God was viewed as immaterial and invisible but still there. They believed that God was omnipotent and feared him. Both religions believed that God took thoughts into consideration as much as deeds. If a Muslims or a Christian thought of doing something, they believed that God saw that the thought was as bad as the actually action. In this case, actions do not speak louder than words.
