The radio has tremendously impacted the world through many different events and occurrences. There is no doubt that radio has provided the world with practical effects that have advanced civilization in many ways. The Second World War, which took place from 1939-1945, is perhaps the event in which it most significantly impacted and benefited society. As communication before this time was a rather slow process, the radio made conveying information to a large number of people quick and easy. It is fair to say that World War Two demonstrated the value of radio.
