Europa Europa is a true story of the account of Salomon Perel's autobiographical experiences during the World War II. Salomon is a German Jewish boy, living in Germany with his family. When his family is faced with the threat of the Nazis, Salomon's parents decide that they must flee from Germany to their father's home in Poland. When the threat of Nazis again becomes real in Poland, Salomon and his brother Isaac flee towards Russia. They become separated during the trip while crossing a river. Salomon is thrown from the boat and swims ashore where he is taken by Russian soldiers to a Russian Orphanage, where he is trained to be a member of the Russian Kosmonol, and to be a `good communist'.
When Germany attacks Russia, Salomon is left behind and captured by Germans. Using his fluency of the German language, he is accepted as a German...
