Summary: Essay describes Marie Curie and parts of her life.
Through out the years heroes have been perceived to be men. These men have been perceived as the superior gender, even dating back to Greece and before. Rarely or never anyone hears about a woman being a hero. I began to wonder why. Why are we learning that man is the superior gender? Yes, they are strong but aren't women strong too. This is why I chose Marie curie as my "hero." Peculiar isn't it. Not only is she a woman, she's a woman who is a scientist. I shall show how in weird ways a person who isn't physically strong but mentally strong can prevail through tough and confusing times, be the most famous women in science for her accomplishments and yes even be a hero to some.
