The Major Change of Scout
Summary: The changes of Scout Finch from "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
Scout Finch from the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee underwent some major changes. Scout Finch went from being innocent to learning the truth about human nature. How Scout learned the truth about human nature was hard for her to do. The change in Scout did not occur over night but, it had to occur after many days and weeks of hard times. Throughout this essay I plan to detail Scout Finch's innocence.
In the begining you notice Scout's innocence when she is explaining to Mrs. Caroline about Walter Cunningham's situation. She dosn't realize that she was actually emabarrasing Walter, she was just trying to help. This shows her childhood innocence.
You begin to notice the change in Scouts innocence when she hears her classmates saying terrible things about her father Atticus Finch. She wants to ask her father what rape is. Once Scout asks her...
