The current state of affairs with Iraq could not be more dismal. With conflict on the brink and emotions escalating there has never been a time when reason and intelligence has been needed more than now. With the tragic occurrences relating to September 11, 2001 and the nation's feeling of making some one accountable we have been on a crusade against the evildoers of the world. The United States has assumed a role as a peacekeeper and leading humanitarian aid leader of the post Cold-War world. Both roles we have fulfilled as convenient but the acts of September 11 have acted as a catalyst and now convenience is not a priority; the priority is the end result. Saddam Hussein is and should be the next target of the United States government because, he has deployed weapons of mass destruction on his own people, he has repeatedly denied U.N. weapons inspectors...
