The interpretation of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America has been a topic of controversy for many years. Having a firearm at that time was so common that they did not even think about having to legalize it. Guns were no more unusual a sight in a home than a broom. Today is a very different story. When you observe the actual text and the, and how it applies today, the Second Amendment has little if any relevance for modern society. The Supreme Court has heard only five cases concerning the Second Amendment. They are U.S v. Cruickshank, Presser v. Illinois, Miller v Texas, and U.S v. Miller and most recently Lewis v. U.S. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case between Burton v. Sills.
