Summary: A research paper on the history of mental illnesses.
Folklore has it that, " An apple a day can keep the doctor way." In most cases this is not true, in fact, one case that strongly exhibits the opposite is the realm of mental illnesses. Modern medicine has moved way beyond our ancestors. Today, we have modern medicines that are tested before being administered. Mental illnesses are fields of health that are constantly changing and getting more insight on the human physic. Society and government have been researching mental illnesses as early as B.C. The history of mental illnesses has changed through-out history because of governmental changes, societal views, and technological advances.
