Easter time in Poland is the most special holiday for me. There are many customs connected with these days in my country. I would like to make you familiar with some of them.

On the first day of spring - 21st March - children make dolls symbolizing winter and burn them in fires or throw them to the river or sea. It means winter is over and spring has come. Then Easter comes with many other customs.

Since I came to the United States, my first two days of Easter holiday are celebrated almost the same as in Poland.
