Shakespeare's play `The Comedy of Errors' is a `well made play' (unlike `Two' which was episodic) and so has a beginning, middle and an end; or, in dramatical terms, an exposition, a development and a denouement.
The timescale of the play is one day. The ending is an important time as it's when everything will come to ahead. The execution will occur, the debt should be paid and there should be a meeting between Antipholus and the merchant. Tension is built up because the audience is aware of this timescale.
