"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is guaranteed to all, regardless of gender, class or sexual orientation, and this bill perfectly represents that ideal. We must keep in mind that as senators of the United States our religious beliefs should not and must not play a role in our decision on this bill; we must instead weigh the legality of the issue not the morality.
