Capitalism on Trail: Self-Interest / Human Dignity
Summary: This essay will only briefly focus on how capitalist based governments treat human rights and their choices made in such society.
This essay talks about self-interest in a capitalist society and how it leads to disregard towards human dignity. In a capitalist based society, the self-interest of individuals are of more concerns of those individual who can afford it and therefore disregards the basic needs of the community at large.
In the future, as the race of competition increases, conflicts of interest may arise between groups of individuals, resulting in the downfall of human, or self worth. What that means is that as a country strives towards proving itself or (to rephrase it: try to meet the ideals of capitalism), it forgets the most fundamental task of acknowledging the existence of certain individuals who cannot afford to live up to the government's or market's demands.
