Youth Crime
Summary: Essay discusses if minors should be responsible for the crimes they commit.
Looking at the crimes committed today, it is easy to see that a majority of it is committed by minors. The blame can be, and is, placed on three groups: these children's parents, the children themselves, and the judicial system. All of these groups are also quick to point the finger at the others.
The parents are often looked at to place blame on their children's misdoings. It usually comes in the form of the children and the judicial system blaming the parent for "neglecting" the child. To which the parents usually retort with the fact that they work all day to have a nice house and food all for the child's benefit.
The children are always to blame, maybe not subconsciously, but they are the ones actually committing these acts. It can be contributed to the groups that young people hang out in. Things that may not...
