On the bases of history, Vietnam's establishment lies upon many arduous and contended years in war. Over the years, it has conflicted with many countries and established a reputation for being harsh and treacherous for its mutable regime caused deaths of "innocent" lives. What still can't be brought to perspective is that Vietnam, even with its history of war, is a country that tried to assimilate into its surroundings and create a foundation for itself. Just as the Roman Empire attained their zenith through martial conflicts, Vietnam did as well.
