Comparing Macbeth and Much Ado about Nothing
Throughout history, there have always been tragedies and comedies. Perhaps the most famous playwright of these dramas was William Shakespeare of the 16th century. Shakespeare deals with many of the same issues in his tragedies and his comedies, and he uses many of the same dramatic elements, but they are very different in tragedy and comedy. This can be shown by comparing and contrasting three issues and three dramatic elements in the tragedy Macbeth and the comedy Much Ado About Nothing.
The first issue is love. In Macbeth, Macbeth's love for Lady Macbeth is what finally pushes him to commit homicide.
