Lois Duncan is one of the most talented authors in the United States. She is also one of my favorite. Her psychological novels are full of adventure and suspense. Not only is it planned carefully but it makes you want to keep reading and not stop until you have finished the book. After reading one of her books you will be searching for more.

Lois Duncan was born in Philadelphia on April 28, 1934 to two internationally known magazine photographers, Joseph and Lois Steinmetz. She also has a younger brother, Bill. While she was born in Philadelphia, however, she grew up in Sarasota, Florida. She knew that she wanted to be a writer from early childhood and started submitting stories when she was ten.
