Racial Conflict in U.S. History
Summary: Essay shows how racial conflict was a basic part of Colonial and Unites States history.
The simple answer to that question would be yes. Racial conflict is the conflict between races that seems to be caused by an unnecessary need for a racial and ethnic hierarchy, stratifying inequality among races. This has proven itself all throughout American history and the history of American schools.
Colonial and Unites States history has shown human beings "organizing" themselves for a number of different reasons; religion, beliefs, government, origin, race or economy. Factoring in the reasons, consider the United States in 1790, about the time of its founding factors as overall economic or political power. At that time, (and much that will follow) the top group would be English Americans, with Scottish Americans a little down the ladder.
