What is a hero? Many think of a hero as a person with god-like powers whom glide through the air, and in the knick of time make a miraculous save. As Kevin Costner once said,"Real heroes are men who fall and fail and are flawed, but win out in the end because they have stayed true to their ideals and beliefs and commitments, ." Although various people think this when heroes are mentioned, it is not necessarily true. The true definition of a hero is someone who will sacrifice his or her life for someone else, without even hesitating. A hero is someone who, despite the drama and horror he/she has experienced, still keeps their humanity and emotions.
