Summary: A book review on the book "Jews, God, and History."
To define Judaism is a very difficult task considering that in reality, Judaism means various things to different people. Judaism encompasses religion, faith, a people, a nation, a very long hard history and so much more. In my opinion, in order to illustrate Judaism in a complete way, one must include the concepts God, the Chosen people, the Promised Land, and the Bible, and the Talmud. However, many would consider certain rituals such as the observance of the Sabbath and praying equally important when defining this concept. As we all know, Judaism first originated from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, our Forefathers, the patriarchs.
