Macbeth and His Fall
What is the staircase that leads down from bravery, honor, and valor into the chasm of tyranny, turmoil, anger, and hate? Can it really be defined as one thing? Or is it like a puzzle, where without all the pieces, nothing can be seen for sure, but when all the pieces are in place, a masterpiece, or nightmare, can be taken in with the whole effect meant to be portrayed? Macbeth was a brave, loyal general in the king's army with everything to live for, but ambition and fare took hold of the reigns of his life and led him down a path of deceit, disloyalty, and eventually total ruin.
