Psychological Development of a Teenage Girl

Summary: This text examines a young girl named Jessica and her trials and tribulations of adolescence and relates her life to the natural way any adolescent functions.
Jessica Fazio, my 16-year old cousin, is a sophomore in high school and going though many normal changes of adolescence. Jessica is a gymnast and is the second to youngest child in a family of four children and lives at home with both of her parents who are in a happy marriage. Jessica has a boyfriend named Bobby. The two spend time together after school and on weekends and have been seeing each other for a few months. I chose to interview Jessica, over my own 17-year old sister, because Jessica has experienced a lot of difficulties so far throughout her adolescence and was more than willing to talk to me about all of them.
