The belief until the mid 1960s that Hitler could impose his will on all of Germany bending historical forces is merely Nazi propaganda. This view has increasingly come under attack. Modern evidence illuminates the key roles of other Nazis, whilst Hitleristic interpretations have various flaws, making them doubtful. It seems unlikely tat socio-economic matters can be reduced intricate aspects of Hitler's warped personality. However that Hitler was not of central evil forcing people to make these decisions faces much resentment due to its implications. The key issue surrounding the historical poles of "Master" and "weak dictator" lie in how much influence the individual has in shaping history. In short, can the Third Reich be explained chiefly by the personality, ideology, and will of Hitler or was Nazi Germany the product...
