Bacterial Resistance to Antibiotics

Bacteria are accepted to be the earliest life form on Earth. Bacteria are what every organism on this Earth has developed from, in the theory of evolution. The earliest bacteria, called cyanobacteria, left fossils. These fossils are estimated to be about three billion years old. Bacteria, in the earliest days of life on earth shaped the landscape. Bacteria of different types deteriorated the landscape, in one way or another, forming a basic landscape for life to develop. (Speer, Waggoner 1)
