King Arthur: Fact or Fiction

The legends tell us that Arthur was a wise and powerful king, who ruled from a giant and glorious castle and who commanded the loyalty of hundreds of men. However no one knows if this is really true. There are many points that people take when asked if King Arthur was a real king. One position is that King Arthur was completely fictitious and the story was made up to tell about loyalty and righteousness. Another position is that Arthur and all of his Quests were real. The third point of view is that Arthur was a real king but the stories of his Quests were invented and exaggerated to make him seem greater.
