In the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell, lots of similarities arise between the Russian Revolution and the book. Characters relate to major people in the revolution. The story line of Animal Farm also relates to that of the revolution. Overall, Orwell accurately compared the two topics very well. Orwell portrayed the characters and story line of Animal Farm very well compared to the Russian Revolution.

First, a quick summary of the novel. The novel is about a group of animals that take of a farm and run it their own way. One of the characters, Old Major, comes up with this plan, but dies shortly after he tells all the animal of it. The pigs decide they will take the plan into their own hands and execute it.
