In my opinion both are very powerful and they set a great example for the women today. Shirin Ebadi was one of TIME magazine's 20 picks in its "Heroes and Icons" category, and Sandra Day O'Connor was also in TIME magazine's 20 picks however for the "Scientists and Thinkers" category. accomplished so much. If it weren't for them, I feel that women wouldn't be respected as much. I also feel that women wouldn't have as much freedom as they do now, and we should all be thankful for these women. We all should learn more about how, and why these women did what they did, and learn all of their background information so we can understand more.
