The year of the setting is 1692. Salem was a simple town. Often wagon, cart, and horse were common sources of transportation. The women were thoroughly covered in their dresses. Women of lower class often went by Goody instead of Ms. or Mrs. Witchcraft was at large at the time. Witches weren't the ugly, green, broom flying, scoundrels like today. The witches could've been your neighbor next-door who simply had a peculiar birth defect.

Mary Chase is faced with the facts. Girls in town stated the presence of a witch, and people were being taken in. At first, this was just a game a few of the girls played. Among the many taken into custody, her mother, Virginia Chase was accused and arrested. Mary and her older brother Caleb venture out to rescue their mother. Mary also is challenged by the fact that she was always taught to hold...
