Effects of Illegal Fishing

It is widely known that water covers almost three-quarters of the Earth's surface, but are the numbers of the more than three trillion fishes slowly decreasing. Over-fishing and illegal fishing is not something like pollution that is hard to over come, but is preventable by simply adding tighter security and control on affected areas. If things continue to head in the direction they are heading in at the moment very soon the earth could be at risk to losing a vast number of breeds of fish altogether.
Last year the Environment Minister announced Australia's Ocean Policy (Article 1). This policy is designed to protect the ocean while also allowing the exploitation of its resources.
