Summary: Examines how faith can take on many forms. Explores the theme of faith in a variety of texts, including Anne Bradstreet's, "Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House," in Mary Rowlandson's account of captivity by Native American entitled " A Narrative of the captivity and Restoration of Mrs. Mary Rowlandson," and Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography.
Pokemon, the supernatural battling mutations of the human imagination, come in almost any form imaginable. Puny Pikachu to a massive Blastoise are only the tip of the iceberg of the multiple forms of Pokemon. Just like Pokemon, so can faith take on many forms. Faith in God for example, which can be lucidly shown in Anne Bradstreet's, "Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House," and also shown in Mary Rowlandson's account of captivity by Native American entitled " A Narrative of the captivity and Restoration of Mrs. Mary Rowlandson." However, Faith is not always associated with God and religion, Benjamin Franklin shows he has faith in his own ability to solve problems. These three writers show that faith can take many forms.
