Our country is messed up. Can't we just be like other countries and have an age that you're considered an adult? What is the age in the U.S., 18 some might say, but if you're an adult at 18 and can face adult consequences then why can't we enjoy adult benefits such as having the legal ability to drink at age 19? The answer is a bunch of incoherent facts people opposing a lower drinking age continue to throw at anyone with enough sense to see the current drinking age is due for a change.

I think the age of 19 is perfect for a drinking age. It keeps alcohol out of high school students' ability to legally get, gives you a year to experience adulthood, and has proven to work in Canada, a country very similar in many ways to ours. Also, I know this has been said before but...
