Summary: Reviews author Danielle Steele's first novel called "Going Home." Provides a plot summary.
This book is about a twenty-eight year girl, named Gilliam Forrester. She was a stylist who had live in NY for a long time before she got divorced. The story began when she moved to San Francisco and an Advertising Company called her for a commercial. In this Carson Advertising's job she met a guy named Christopher Matthews who was the film director hired for the commercial.

Chris and Gill fell in love. He visited her constantly and got along very well with Gill's daughter, Samantha. In summer the three moved to Bolinas, a beach near the city. Gill started to feel sick and she went to see the doctor. He told her she was pregnant and when she gave the news to Chris he decided Gill should move back to NY alone if she really wanted to have the baby.
