Carpe Diem is generally the idea of making the most of what you've got. Be it time (the most literal interpretation) money, or any other, worldly thing. We say it is important to seize the day and to live in the now, but people can get so caught up in that sometimes that they forget how now is not always the important thing, neither yesterday or tomorrow, but the beginnings and ends and in betweens. Can anyone define the exact moment something happens? It can be narrowed down sometimes to the moment before it happened, the moment we know it didn't happen or think it did, and the moment after it happened. These are each defined by specific emotions and actions. But there is a margin therein where the event may have overlapped into various moments as well.
