Summary: Investigates difficulties in financing small businesses run by sole traders or a small partnership. Describes advantages of partnerships.
In this project I will be investigating any difficulties in financing small businesses run by sole traders or a small partnership. I will be researching a specific type of business, which will be local grocers. As part of my research and to make sure that I carry out the correct investigation I will first ask the selected businesses if there type of ownership, if they are a sole trader, partnership, P.L.C, or a LTD company. Once I have found out which businesses are owned by sole traders or a partnership I will carry out further investigation.

One person owns a sole trader business although the sole trader can employ staff. Usually the staff are not involved in any decisions or any control of the finance.
