Nomadic Versus Settled Societies
Summary: Explores the similarities and differneces between nomadic and settled societies. Examines changes in political life, economic life, social life, religious life, and artistic life.
Nomadic and Settled Societies are two very different cultures that had evolved from one to the other. Once the Nomadic cultures no longer had to keep moving to survive they had the opportunity to learn how to farm which lead to Settled Societies. This had changed the whole culture such as political life, economic life, social life, religious life, and artistic life. This changes had then lead the Nomadic Culture to the more advanced Settled Societies
The political structure of the Nomadic and Settled Societies are entirely different. The Nomadic Societies had a tribal type of government. Their leaders were determined by age. The older and more knowledgeable man was the leader. When it came time until the leader could no longer go on he would stay behind while the rest of the tribe kept moving.
