The purpose of this lab is to find out the thickness of a sheet of aluminum foil.

Materials (Equipments):

~ Aluminum Foil

~ Electronic Scale

~ Ruler

~ Pencil and paper

Procedure:

1. First of all we measure the mass of the aluminum foil that was given to us. To calculate the mass we used electronic scale. In order to get accurate mass we repeated the procedure three times and than took the average of
2. After taking the average mass of aluminum foil we use density formula to calculate the volume of the foil. For density, we used the periodic table that was at the back of the book
3. Then, we measure the length and width of the given foil by using the ruler. Then we substitute those values for volume to find out the height of the aluminum foil.
