Preserving Charleston's Past, Shaping its Future, is a book written by Sidney Bland, that describes the life of a Susan Pringle Frost, whom was known as a women's rights activists, involved in African American rights, local government, but most of all her role in preserving the Charleston historic district during the early 1900's. By taking part in this Susan Frost has made Charleston one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States.
