Skin cancer is a disease in which cancer cells are found in the outer layers of your skin. Your skin protects you against injury heat, infection, light and injury. Also it stores fat, water and vitamin D. The skin has two has two main layers of several different kinds of skin cells. The top later is called the epidermis. The epidermis which is the top layer of skin consists of three types of cells, flat scaly cells and on the surface call squamous cells, round cells called basal cells, and cell that give your skin color called melanocytes.
